Tailored
Every child is unique and so naturally they will present sleep challenges in different ways.
The solutions that I prepare are suited entirely to your situation and will take into account many factors including temperament, age, family dynamics, comfort level and your goals as a family. I am well versed in a variety of techniques and whilst controlled crying has its place in sleep training, it might not always be the most suitable option. We will work as a team and together we can agree on the most suitable option. Regardless of which option we choose, before any formal sleep training begins, I focus on realigning and implementing the key foundations that impacts sleep. This is they key to success. Without this element, sleep training won’t work in a healthy and supported way.
Holistic
I DON’T BELIEVE THERE IS SUCH THING AS A NATURALLY GOOD OR A BAD SLEEPER.
With my holistic approach to sleep I understand that any interruption to this natural function is a result of imbalance with one or more influencing factors (physical, emotional, social, environmental, developmental). Before starting any formal sleep training, I like to get to the root of your child’s sleep problem by investigating all of these areas and realigning the basic foundations. I analyse everything from nutritional intake, environment, activity levels and emotional wellbeing to attachment style, routines, negative sleep associations and sleep crutches.
